Hi! I’m Ashley!

New Orleans and Pittsburgh wedding photographer Ashley Biltz, wearing long dangly earrings and a vintage outfit.

I’m a New Orleans wedding photographer capturing memories all around this side of the Mississippi river and beyond. I’m glad you’re here!

My photography career started over 12 years ago and since then, my goal has always been to tell my client’s stories through captivating, colorful photography. How do I achieve that? One word: Connection.

Through photography, I’ve learned how to build meaningful connections with others, while also providing them support and encouragement so that they can see themselves as the beautiful, unique, kind humans they are.

I also understand how much a photo can mean. Wherever I am, I always keep photos with me of my friends and family, past and present. They all remind me of how I’m loved and how I want to show others love. Photography is powerful and I have a passion for preserving moments that I know will mean even more to you over time.

This is why on your wedding day, I keep that passion internally guiding me, always having eyes for the past that brought us here, the present unfolding every second, and the future value of each captured moment.

But Ashley, what brought you to New Orleans? Well, originally from Pittsburgh, I took a trip to New Orleans in 2015 and, as I like to say, “drank the juice and caught the bug”. I instantly became obsessed with the culture, vibrant colors, and architecture here. New Orleans is the home i chose.

“Don’t you love making these memories?!”

Black music notes dancing around

I am most likely listening to Princess Nokia while editing your photos. In my words, she is the poet of our lifetime bb. Honestly, I could fan girl over her discography forever.

I love thrifting colorful vintage clothing. The vibrancy of New Orleans has been a HUGE influence on my style and my personal aesthetic goal is to be “a walking art installation of joy”.

My sense of humor stems from an upbringing of binge-watching Gilmore Girls. Throw in some Broad City and a sprinkling of Whose Line Is it Anyway and you have me pretty figured out.

here’s a soft flex

Not to brag, but I’ve been featured in some really cool places!
