Stunning New Orleans Pharmacy Museum Wedding

Lisa and Paul had an insanely gorgeous New Orleans Pharmacy Museum wedding ceremony followed by a candle-lit reception at the Beauregard Keyes House in the french quarter.

Lisa had a background in planning events and i knew from our first call that their wedding was going to be epic.

New Orleans Pharmacy Museum

The New Orleans Pharmacy Museum happens to be one of my favorite wedding venues in the city. It has a perfect mix of old world french quarter charm while also bringing in a tinge of spooky history. I was so lucky that this was my first wedding at this venue and it most certainly was not my last. I’ve documented many weddings there since and i’m still obsessed. Insider tip: they offer an affordable tour of the museum on weekdays. I love taking friends that are visiting New Orleans here and then grabbing a drink in the French Quarter after. I learn a new story about this place each time i go!

First Look

We started their day with a first look on the top floor followed by more photos through out the pharmacy museum and courtyard.

Ceremony

Their courtyard ceremony was beautifully decorated with gorgeous antique rentals from Love Good Rentals. The couple rented vintage rugs as their aisle runner for their ceremony. They also rented a chandelier from FireFly Ambiance which added the perfect pop of ambiance for their ceremony.

Lisa’s dad officiated the wedding making every photo that much more meaningful.

Once the ceremony was finished, everyone grabbed a cocktail to-go and wedding paraded (aka what we call in New Orleans a “second line”) to their reception.

Beauregard Keyes House Reception

The Beauregard Keyes House complimented the vibe perfectly and everyone enjoyed fresh shucked oysters and live music while also eating under candle light inside.
