New Orleans Engagement Photos in the French Quarter
There are so many amazing places to take New Orleans engagement photos, but the French Quarter is definitely the most iconic. I met up with Rose and Chelsea for a session that shows the fun and loving sides of their relationship in this colorful neighborhood.
A Proposal Switch Up and Cocktails at The Vintage
One thing I love about being a wedding photographer is getting to know couples and documenting all the milestones in their relationships. I’m really doing that with Rose and Chelsea! Rose first inquired with me to surprise Chelsea with a proposal. Chelsea found out, so we switched to an engagement session. In a plot twist, Chelsea reached out to me and surprised Rose with a proposal. That means I’ve documented their proposal, New Orleans engagement photos, and, in the fall, their wedding too!
For their engagement session, I met Chelsea and Rose at The Vintage. This cafe on Magazine Street serves beignets, wine, and snacks. The aesthetics are perfectly vintage New Orleans. It really set the tone for the colorful, historic scenery that we’d pass through in the French Quarter later on. Meeting at a cafe is always a nice way to ease people into sessions. You get to relax and interact with your partner and get used to having a camera around.
New Orleans Engagement Photos in the French Quarter
After Rose and Chelsea finished their drinks, we headed into the French Quarter. There is no shortage of charming, colorful backdrops here. It was such a joy wandering around with Chelsea and Rose. You can see in these images how funny and caring they are with each other. They compliment each other in so many ways, and it shows in their photos!
